TESTIMONIALS

“Our 3 boys recently attended the baseball camp with Andrew and Matt on 5/22. The drills were perfect and they really enjoyed the different competitions. Also, it was refreshing to see the instruction and guidance on each drill. Andrew and Matt truly care about teaching the game and making it fun for the kids.

Our son has also been receiving one on one private lessons with Andrew. The personal instruction he receives for hitting has made a difference with his technique and mental approach. Andrew is very patient and thorough. We love having him work with our boys and look forward to seeing their continued growth with Andrew’s help. We highly recommend Andrew to anyone looking to improve their game. He’s the best.”

“Andrew’s knowledge of the game is exceptional. Regardless if you are a young ball player seeking sound fundamentals or an elite athlete refining their skills Andrew can meet all needs. More importantly his ability to communicate and teach is what sets him apart.”

“Andrew's hands-on approach with my son, step by step instruction and ability to demonstrate has really resonated. He does not offer cookie-cutter lessons. Each lesson is focused on the fundamentals of hitting and hitting mechanics and tailored specifically to my son. Andrew is friendly, accessible and his knowledge and experience are second to none. Having this resource available to my son is incredible.”

“My daughter Aaliyah started working with Andrew early in 2022. She came to Andrew during a two month hitting slump, she was discouraged and needed a break through. Andrew was the breakthrough, he was able to quickly build a relationship, identify the opportunity and most importantly he was able to help build her confidence back up. Andrew's ability to break down instructions in a fun, easy and effective way has been the key. He is patient, direct and takes the time to customize each lesson; taking notes, videos and showing his commitment. It is a pleasure to work with and recommend Andrew. My daughter saw immediate results in her hitting. I saw her focused and smiling at the plate. She was enjoying the game again. We are thankful for Andrew's instructions and highly recommend his coaching.”

“Andrew has been a big help to Clay. His knowledge extends through all facets of baseball. Having experienced major league baseball first hand he is able to share a wealth of knowledge regarding work ethic, performance expectations, and recruitment. Additionally, he is one of the most technical hitting instructors we have worked with to date. His ability to break down the mechanics of a swing and translate that into positive results for each individual hitter is amazing. We look forward to working with Andrew throughout Clay’s baseball career.”

“Coach Romine had an immediate positive affect on my son’s batting approach. Brodie has been getting professional instruction for a number of years and has always had success at the plate, however the Professional next level instruction he has received from coach Romine has taken his game to an entirely different level”

“In the short time Andrew had worked with our 13 year old son not only has he helped correct his swing but built his confidence and shown him the mechanics of how to make his body work for him. Our son is excited to go to his lessons with Andrew and puts his skills to work the best he can. Andrew engages our son in what they went over, how to make corrections and breaking down his mechanics. We are more than impressed with his work so far.”

“Andrew Romine was one of the hardest working, dedicated players I was fortunate to coach, and who I today count as family. I knew then, and he is proved every day since, that he is uniquely qualified to teach the next generation of players how to approach the game, and life. He is uniquely qualified to mentor young players and help them achieve their goals… both on and off the field.”

My son received a couple virtual lessons from his aunt for Christmas 2021. As a former college player I have to admit I was a little skeptical of how effective virtual lessons would be because I had grown up with conventional hands-on training. After a few sessions I have to say I was completely wrong in my skepticism. Coach Romine is EXTREMELY engaging and has a great ability to get “on plane” with young developing players. He presents concepts and provides details in a way that are very consumable even in a virtual setting.

Coach Romine has also become a great mentor to my son. I feel that my son has gained an even higher level of confidence knowing that he has a former MLB player in his corner to help him with his approach on the field and at the plat
Up to this point, we have come away with at least 2 to 3 valuable nuggets from each session. Sometimes they are related to mechanics, sometimes approach or mindset, and sometimes they are related to life in general.

We often use our sessions as weekly or bi-weekly check-ins to go over “in-game” or “on-field” progress through video assessment. This process has become a very effective means of quality control and works extremely well in a virtual setting.
Working with Coach Romine has also helped my son learn to self correct and make the necessary adjustments during practice and in games to achieve the desired output. My son now has a greater sense for physical awareness and has established queues to help with consistency in his ability to find “the feels” in his mechanics that yield results.

Above all my son has had way more success at the start and throughout this season then he ever has. I feel this is directly connected to the work he has been doing with Coach Romine. I must also say that as a Father and a Coach it has been a great way to reinforce some of the basic principles that I have worked to instill. Because let’s face it, sometimes it may take a new or different perspective to drive a point home especially if your son or daughter is going through the “I KNOW dad!” Phase. These virtual sessions have been an extremely beneficial complement to my son’s baseball activity. Plus I have learned things along the way that have helped to make me a better coach as well. So it’s a win-win all around.
