ABOUT ME

Born in Winter Haven, Florida to June Romine and Red Sox outfielder Kevin Romine, I grew up surrounded by the game of baseball. After my Father's retirement we moved back to southern California where I attended Cielo Vista Elementary, RSM Junior High and Trabuco Hills High School. I Lettered in baseball, football and track & field. From there I followed in my Father's footsteps as I played college baseball at Arizona State University where we participated in the College World Series in ‘05 and ‘07. I was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the 5th round in 2007. It was three years later on September 24th, 2010 that I made my Major League debut in my hometown of Anaheim, California. I was traded to the Detroit Tigers in 2014 where i spent the next four years mastering every position on the field as was came be know as an Ultra-Utility Player. 2018 was spent with the Seattle Mariners and 2019 with the Philadelphia Phillies. After a brief stint with the Texas Rangers during the 2020 season I then finished my career with the Chicago Cubs in 2021 alongside my brother (MLB Catcher) Austin Romine.

During my 15 years of professional baseball I was fortunate enough to play alongside some amazing players and coaches as I achieved many gratifying accolades including the 2014 MLB Playoffs, the opportunity to pitch to my brother and becoming the 5th person in history to play all 9 positions in one game, crowning me with the nickname "All9Romine."

Now a coach with the Cleveland Guardians, I reside in Queen Creek, Arizona with my wife and daughter. As I follow my passion for passing on my knowledge and love for the game to the next generation, my goal is to help athletes become more than just Major League caliber ballplayers but also great individuals in all aspects of life.
